Demonstration against the Wall, Beit Jala, 14.03

A group of protestors face Israeli soldiers while a group of photographers document the event from above during a demonstration against the Wall in the West Bank of Beit Jala, on 14.03.2010. Demonstrators were prevented to reach the lands which were previously bulldozed by a large number of Israeli soldiers who blocked the road. Israel soldiers immediatly threw sound bombs directly at the crowd. However the demonstrators came back, refused to leave and sat down on the road. Locals held speeches calling for more demonstrations in the future.
